Rhinoplasty, also known as "nose job" is a plastic surgery performed in order to reshape and correct the functions of the nose.

the shape of the nose varies depending on the face structure and the desire of the one, that's why the doctor and the one's must fully agree on the details of the operation before performing it.
Techniques of Rhinoplasty Surgery
There are two different surgical techniques in rhinoplasty which are the Open and Closed rhinoplasty
1-Open Rhinoplasty
Which is a surgical technique performed by removing the nasal skin with making incisions from the nose tip and from inside the nose.
2- Closed Rhinoplasty
Which is a surgical technique performed by making incisions only from inside the nose.
It is performed through the gap between the nasal skin, cartilage and bone structures without removing the nasal skin completely.
Rhinoplasty surgery performed under general anesthesia and it takes between 1 – 3 hours depending on the size of the surgical intervention will be performed.
The splint and tampon used after surgery remain for 5 – 7 days after that they will be removed by the doctor. and it will take about 6 months for the nose to take its final shape.
