As a result of pregnancies, breastfeeding, weight gain or loss and aging, breasts can deform, sag, loosen, grow or shrink.
These changes and deformations can adversely affect women both physically and psychologically.
There are many different types of aesthetic surgeries that can be performed to reshape the saggy, small, or large breasts like:
• Breast Augmentation
• Breast reduction
• Breast lift
• Breast asymmetry
Breast augmentation: is applied generally to small breast which didn't fully grow due to different reasons,or reduced after breastfeeding or weight loss.
There are two method for breast augmentation:
1- Fat injection: this method is performed when the breasts need a slight enlargement
2- Silicone prosthesis: which Is the common method that used to enlarge the breasts and it can be inserted to the body from the armpit or under the breasts.
Silicone prosthesis are placed either under the breast tissue or under the muscle tissue Breast reduction:
Large breasts can lead to both aesthetic and functional problems like shoulder and back pains, breast reduction has two technique:
1: Free Nipple Graft Technique: which is a technique applied on very large breasts by removing the nipple, educing the breast size and then forming a new nipple.
2: Flap Technique: in this technique the nipple and breast tissue are preserved, the excess breast tissues are removed, after that, the nipples are moved upwards.
Breast lifting: Breast lifting surgeries are usually done to correct sag and looseness in the breast tissue.
During breast lifting operations, the breast tissue is kept alive and moved to the area where it should be, at the same time the tissues around the breast are reshaped and the breast is given the ideal shape.
Breast asymmetry: After pregnancy, breastfeeding, aging, various diseases, excessive weight gain, excessive weight loss and puberty, a breast can have a different size or shape from the other.
Different methods can be applied to fix breast asymmetry, Sometimes the Large breast can be minimized and sometimes the small breast can be enlarged with the silicone prosthesis or fat injection.
